Whenever I do senior portraits, I usually shoot them outdoors. The sun and natural light, combined with so many choices of locations allows me to bring so much variety and impact to the images. As a photographer, I’m always taking mental notes about the places I see and how to work them into a future photo session. But today was different – my client was feeling a bit under the weather and asked if we had anywhere we could shoot that was indoors.

I started looking around, and found an art gallery right in downtown New Albany. I reached out and called the Hayley Gallery. I spoke with Hayley, the owner, and she said, while an unusual request, she would have us. Her gallery is the largest collection of art from Ohio! The gallery has some truly impressive pieces, at all price ranges.

So… firstly, thank you Hayley, for having us. And secondly, here is a preview of the shoot.
